In other words, it is when we take the gift that is given to us, (and EVERYONE has been given a gift,), whether it be life or physical abilities, or intelligence, or financial blessings, and then take that gift and turn around and use it for our own glory or selfish goals.
Yes, we are meant to benefit from these good things and enjoy them. But we need to keep in mind where they came from and acknowledge that. Always being grateful to God who has given them. Actually really loaned them. They were never ours and even then, just for a moment, and then they're gone.
